schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder often characterized by abnormal social behavior and failure to recognize what is real. Common symptoms include false beliefs, unclear or confused thinking, auditory hallucinations, reduced social engagement and emotional expression, and lack of motivation. Diagnosis is based on observed behavior and the person's reported experiences.

Genetics and early environment, as well aspsychological and social processes, appear to be important contributory factors. Some recreational and prescription drugs appear to cause or worsen symptoms. The many possible combinations of symptoms have triggered debate about whether the diagnosis represents a single disorder or a number of separate syndromes. Despite the origin of the term, from Greek skhizein, meaning "to split", and phrēn, meaning "mind", schizophrenia does not imply a "split personality" or "multiple personality disorder" — a condition with which it is often confused in public perception.[1] Rather, the term means a "splitting of mental functions", reflecting the presentation of the illness.

The mainstay of treatment is antipsychoticmedication, which primarily suppressesdopamine receptor activity. Counseling, job training and social rehabilitation are also important in treatment. In more serious cases—where there is risk to self or others—involuntary hospitalization may be necessary, although hospital stays are now shorter and less frequent than they once were.

Symptoms begin typically in young adulthood, and about 0.3–0.7% of people are affected during their lifetime.[4] In 2013 there was estimated to be 23.6 million cases globally.[5]The disorder is thought to mainly affect the ability to think, but it also usually contributes to chronic problems with behavior and emotion. People with schizophrenia are likely to have additional conditions, including major depression and anxiety disorders; the lifetime occurrence of substance use disorder is almost 50%.Social problems, such as long-term unemployment, poverty, and homelessness are common. The average life expectancy of people with the disorder is ten to twenty five years less than the average life expectancy. This is the result of increased physical health problems and a higher suiciderate (about 5%).In 2013 an estimated 16,000 people died from behavior related-to or caused by schizophrenia.

What is W2 and C2C and 1099 and MSP and VMS ?

I am talking about H1 visa. An Employer will take you on W2 basis or 1099. The diff between two is that 1) In W2 employer will cut your tax, while incase of 1099 employee will be resposible for that. So, in 1099 you can show your expenses like commuting, gas etc which are exempted from tax and you might be able to save some extra bucks. Generally, in US employers goes for W2. c2c ie. Corp 2 Corp (what I supposedly know): Suppose you are a consultant for company A which is not direct vendor for client, company B is a prime vendor for client and company B ask for candidates from company A. In that case if you are working for company B it is corp2corp If need job in the US on an H-1 visa , must be paid on a W2 basis, not via a 1099. A MSP, Managed Service Provider, manages vendors and measure their effectiveness in recruiting according to the client's standards and requirements. MSPs generally do not recruit directly, but try to find the best suppliers of vendors according to t...

Mahatma Karamchand Gandhi

Mahatma Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 to a family of merchants in Porpbandar, India. At the age of 19 he broke free of the existing caste system in India by moving to England where he studied law. Considered the father of the Indian independence movement, he is highly regarded as an enlightening force in our world.   "Be the change you want to see in the world" “Those who know how to think need no teachers.” Mahatma Gandhi and his brother Laxmidas “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” “Love is the strongest force the world possesses, and yet it is the humblest imaginable” This picture was taken when Ghandi was arrested in a 1913 strike. On his right are two of his co-workers, Mr. Kallenbach and Miss Schlesin. “Every moment of your life is infinitely creative and the universe is endlessly bountiful. Just put forth a clear enough request, and everything your heart desires must come to you.” “To a true arti...
